✨Jax Secord is a lifelong storyteller, and the creator of The Zoggies, a crookedly charming crew of undead pups stitched together by friendship, mischief, and heart.🖤

Growing up in Seattle on a steady diet of fractured fairy tales and Beetlejuice Cartoons, she spent much of her childhood either reading or writing stories. From the eerie magic of stop-motion worlds to the whimsical strangeness of Burtonesque, she developed a deep love for stories that celebrate the beautifully crooked and wonderfully weird.

A winding career in technology carried Jax halfway across the world to Australia, where she now lives by the bay with her partner Dave. She often writes to cinematic scores, letting them shape the cobwebbed corners, candlelit charm, and spooky-sweet wonder of her stories.

The Zoggies were born from love and loss. Inspired by her late chihuahua, Spike, Jax created a world where the bond between humans and their dogs never truly fades. What began as a way to keep his memory close slowly grew into an enchanting universe, where our best friends live on, forever stitched into the stories she tells.✨
